About Me
My name is Jocabed but just keep it short by calling me Belle or Bella. I'm nineteen years old and full of expectations and dreams. I speak English (of course) and Spanish fluently. Although I don't know everything about computers, I do know enough to apply to Geek Squad. Hehe. So this is who I am. I'm nerdy, dorky, and clumsy. I'm a bookworm, a computer-addict, and the kid who you would pick in school for being too geeky.
I'm 100% Latina. I'm originally from Acapulco, Mexico but I've lived most of my life in the United States. I tend to show that I'm strong but I get hurt easily. I believe in love but not in forgiveness (I'm working on it). Once you I lose trust it is really hard for me to trust again. I'm more naive than a 5 year old who doesn't seem to understand that the world is not full of rainbows and unicorns. I've been back-stabbed friends, cheated by those who claimed to love me, and treated like I'm not good enough, yet I believe that there is good in everyone.
Most people who know me know that I spend nearly all of my time in church. It’s not because my parents brought me up in a certain “religion” but because believe it or not, I like it. I’m Protestant and a liberal Christian by choice. I’m not trying to preach or anything but I rather spend my Saturday or Sunday afternoon in church than in a club being stuck with guys who are only looking for one thing. I know I’ve made my mistakes but that’s the beauty of redemption.
Too goody-good is what people usually think when they meet me; most of the time I live up to that. My lazy days usually consist of wearing pajamas and laying in bed reading a good book. Right now so excited to be in college! It's not as hard as everyone says. I will have to admit I'm very dorky and nerdy at times yet, I wouldn't change who I am for these imperfections, flaws, or virtues make me. Without them I wouldn't be the procrastinator I am, the perfectionist that I aim to be, and the too-optimistic person that I have become.
